ADVANCE NOTICE OF ROADWORKS:
The Westwood Road Association have informed the Trustees that: “a contract to resurface Westwood Ave has been placed by the owners of Westwood Avenue and the work will commence on Monday 13th August 2018 and is expected to be completed within one day. The contractor will carry out preparatory work and additional works requested by some owners between Wednesday 8th August and Friday 11th August 2018
This notice is to inform you and request that you advise all possible users of the road that vehicle access to the Hollis Recreation Ground may not be possible during the period of the work.
We would be grateful if you would advise the Officers of the clubs and request that they inform all their members. Please ask all those who may use the road as pedestrians during the work to exercise extra care.
IF NECESSARY THE CONTRACTOR MAY CLOSE THE ROAD TO BOTH PEDESTRIANS AND VEHICLES.”
The Trustees would like to ask that all pedestrians exercise caution in the area of Westwood Avenue. We apologise for any inconvenience and any further questions or matters relating to this work should be directed at Mr Peter Stevens of the Westwood Avenue Road Association
